Det er mye overvann, som medfører ca 15-20 cm is i veibanen her.
Dette problemet har økt opp gjennom årene, og må sees i sammenheng med bebyggelsen på toppen av fjellet.Dette kan tydlig sees bak Karivold Borettslag, hvor overvann over tomt har tiltatt betraktelig.
