Ved enden av gang og sykkelvegen må syklistene inn på hovedvegen retning Elnesvågen. Hovedveien er nylig asfaltert,men kanten er alt for høy for at dette kan sies å være en trygg systemovergang. Det har i dag skjedd en nesten-ulykke. Asfaltkanten ansees som en trafikkfelle for syklister og bes å jevnes ut.
