Etter at et ble innført avgiftsparkering i Holsetgata, har det vært tiltakende parkering på dagtid på begge sider langs Syver Andersens gate. Det er til tider for trangt å kjøre i gaten på grunn av de parkerte bilene, parkeringen utgjør en fare for barn som skal hjem fra skole og parkeringen antas å være til hinder for eventuelle utrykningskjøretøyer. Kommunen bes vurdere avgiftsparkering også i Syver Andersens gate.
