Innerst i Sørumlia ligger alt til rette for å lage en gang/sykkelsti for beboere i området. Først og fremst vil dette gjøre skoleveien for alle barna i Sørumlia mye tryggere. Dette vil i tillegg være et tiltak som er med å begrense mengden fotgjengere/syklister ned Humlebakken og rett ut i det farlige krysset Ved Lier Stasjon. Her er det bare å komme med maskiner, alle i området er positive til dette tiltaket.
