Fra Gomalandet gravsted (Freiveien) og til Vågen har Freiveien flere hull i veibanen. Dette er en attraktiv sykkelvei inn og ut av byen.Som ivrig sykkelist hadde jeg satt pris på om veien hadde blitt utbedret.

På bakgrunn av svært lave bevilgninger til drift av kommunale veier kan ikke utbedring av denne veien påregnes i nær fremtid.
