Asfalt går i oppløsning pga dårlig bunn.. Asfalten er bare et par år gammel, og ble lagt fordi vegen var ødelagt av tungtrafikk. Det er også flere steder på strekningen, mellom Hindrem og Vanvikan, hvor dette holder på å skjer.
