Delen av høvdingeveien mellom arnungveien og jarleveien er ekstremt dårlig. Store huller i veien overalt, veien er full av vann og parkerte biler langs hele strekningen gjør det vanskelig for bil, buss, renovasjon og fotgjengere å ta seg fram her.
