Den siste tiden har trafikken gjennom Prof Ryghs gt økt betraktelig(da deler av MB Landstads gt er stengt grunnet bygging) og ikke minst, høye hastigheter. Mange beboere i området forteller om svært høye hastigheter gjennom gata og skumle situasjoner for myke trafikanter (barn, syklister, eldre etc.). Her bør det tas grep før det oppstår flere skumle situasjoner.
