Etter asfaltering i Ostadalsveien er fotgjengerfeltene og fartsdumpene borte. Ostadalsveien er skolevei for alle barna fra området som skal til Huseby skole + mange som kommer fra vestsiden av Vækerøveien.

Nye fartsdumper er lavere enn de gamle, og visstnok beregnet for veier med 40 km/t.
