Solvikveien traffikeres av biler som kjører utenfor asfaltert veibane. Dette resulterer i at asfaltkant og veiskulder ødelegges. Om vinteren brøytes veien langt bredere enn veibanen og dett bidrar til ovennevnte problemer.
