Østregate mangler sikring og regulering

Etter at all trafikk fra Stangevegen ble lagt til Østregate er det blitt en særdeles problematisk hverdag for de av oss som ikke kjører bil til jobb. Det finnes ingen merkede fotgjengeroverganger mellom Parkgata og Brugata som innebærer kryssing av gate med livet som innsats. Det er heller ingen fartshindre på denne strekningen og det holdes tidvis høy fart av mange bilister. Da langt over skiltet hastighet for Østregate.
