Det er mange dype hull, vaskebrett og generelt dårlig vei langs hele Nordre Kongsveg. Det gjelder spesielt fra Bergseng stasjon og nordover til grensen mot Lillehammer. Gjelder også fra Bergseng stasjon og opp mot Bergsengkrysset ved riksveg 213.
