Trikkeskinnene i krysset nordpolen / hans nielsen haugesgate, ligger "under" asfaltnivå. Det er håpløst å krysse denne gaten . Man må kjøre så sakte for å ikke ødelegge bilen, at det er få biler som rekker over på grønt lys. Dette gjelder enten man skal krysse fra sandakerveien eller hans nielsen haugesgate.
