Veien er nå i total oppløsning. Kantene er kollapset langt innenfor kantmerking, med stor fare for skader på bil og møteulykker.

Langs hele verden veien nedover askbakken har deler av veien rast ut. Veien er smal i utgangspunktet, nå er det snart umulig å passere to biler.
